Dear Partner,

And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world so that all nations will hear it, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

This week, the Holy Spirit convicted me as I was preaching in Canada. In my message, I said, “I don’t know how you can call yourself a believer and not once ever tell people about the Lord.” I’ll be honest: telling people about the Lord is what I do. But what the Lord convicted me about is I can always do more. We can tell one more person, help one more person, and reach one more person. If we genuinely believe that we are living not only in the last days but in the final hour of time, we will make and take time to reach that one person God puts in front of us even if it is inconvenient.

I was reminded of that this week. We don’t mind doing what God wants us to do when it’s convenient for us, but there are going to be more times than not when we will be called upon when it seems inconvenient. Our obligation is not to our schedule but to what God wants and when He wants it. 2 Timothy 4:2 says,… Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.

I’m praying and asking the Lord that He will give us an awareness of the time we live in. John 9:4 says, “We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.” I’m asking the Lord to help us reach one more person, help one more person, and tell one more person about the great love of God and what He has done.
